She's too young to have this yet, but when Evie Lu is a little older she'll get that "I'm so excited!, I can't wait!, Are we there yet?" feeling. She should have it right now because in just three days her Aunt Kaitlin will be coming to live in the area for the next year. (And who knows if we can convince her to stay longer.)
The toughest thing about moving west was leaving family far behind. You know there are times when you just need to see the people you have played, fought, laughed, and cried with your whole life. So our little household is extremely excited to see the awesome Aunt Kaitlin. Can't you tell by their faces?

So, lemme get this straight... KB gets to live in the same city as Evie, and I haven't even met her yet? So not fair.
As thrilled as I am for Evie, Kaia, Will, and Kaitlin...it's just a little hard to adjust to the fact that none of my kids are in the same area, same state, or (in Megan's case)same country. Although Kaitlin was in college for the last four years, she was just a two-hour drive away. But, if Kaitlin's going to be a long way away...how cool to be sooo close to the Sappingtons! So, Megan, I can somewhat identify with you. It's hard to be apart from family. Once you meet her, Megan, you will never want to be apart from her again. She's a wonderful, wonderful child!
p.s.-Kaitlin flies out to Seattle via Atlanta (which includes a long layover)tomorrw! And Megan, she's flying Air Tran...oofda!
