My Loves

This fall has been a busy one. Evie is a 2nd grader, the boys are in pre-k, Kaia has a new job, and only the cat and I have the same basic routine as last year. Sometimes when there just seems to be too much going on I'll catch a glimpse of Kaia or the kids and I know there is no place I would rather be. This photo always makes me smile.

Summer 2014: The Farm

After a great time at the lake, we headed to the farm for more family time and the fair!

The Gentlemen Turn Four

In July of 2010 Kaia and I knew we were in for a major life change as we prepared to welcome our boys, but I can safely say we had no concept what a change it would be. I don't remember much of their first year of life as Zevon and Guthrie decided sleep was optional, but crying was not. I am glad to say I'm incredibly proud of the awesome boys they are today.

We partied with the boys at a minor league baseball game and then back home for pizza and cake.

Summer Fun 2014: Minnesota Lake Adventures

Evie, Zevon, and Guthrie seem to view the calendar as the collection of days until they go to Minnesota again. This summer they were able to spend time at Grandma Bev and Grandpa Wayne's lake cabin. Fishing, swimming, and riding in Grandpa Wayne's boat were definite highlights.

Summer Fun 2014 - Part 1

Fall is on its way soon, but here are some fun shots of the summer.

Evie and Kaia kicked off the summer with the Montana Women's Run. This will be a mom and daughter tradition for years to come.

The parables of Jesus was our theme for Vacation Bible School and Zevon and Guthrie were awesome sheep. And no one got lost!

Summer means summer camp and we made a trek up to Christikon where Kaia and I met. Kaia took the kids on a hike where the highlight was a snack in the woods.

June wrapped up with Symphony in the Park. Someday we'll be able to stay for the whole event, but for now it is a blast to see the kids enjoy the day.
