While today is the day I've gotten to posting Evie Lu's first birthday pictures, yesterday was the day her gifts gave back to Kaia. While stepping over a baby barricade, Kaia stepped onto some blocks and ended up breaking her fifth metatarsal near the base. That means six weeks in a walking cast and staying off of the foot as much as possible. I'm just thankful we don't have stairs in our place.

Sorry to hear about your injury Kaia! I hope recovery goes faster than it will probably feel.
