Now that Evie Lu is sitting up it is a lot of fun to place things in front of her and watch her go to town. The stacking rings toy, which was an Easter basket gift, has been a constant source of entertainment. Although, I'm anticipating the day she grabs the base and uses it like a hammer.
Hey, that's not fair I only have two teeth!
Kaia and Evie Lu spent quite a while playing with the rings. It was remarkable to watch Evie Lu copy Kaia and seemlingly try to communicate. What was she communicating? I haven't the foggiest, but it was really important to little miss Evie Lu.
Mom, you crack me up!
Evie Lu has lots of toys and no matter how advanced toys get there are classics that will never go away. Rings and blocks are the coolest if you ask me. I can't wait to catch Evie Lu pretending to have tea or building some great structure that exists only in her imagination.
Mom, the yellow one tastes like drool, what does yours taste like?

Anytime you guys come up with a new Evie Lu post, I call Chris over to the computer and we laugh and coo over how cute our little niece is - and marvel over how we can at least have a taste of what's going on in your lives from so far away. The past week was even cooler, with Mom & Dad sitting with us, cracking up over Evie's antics and sighing over her smile. I guess what I'm saying is thank you so much for keeping us updated and sharing your little girl. She's amazing, and so are you both.
happy birthday, daddy will! hope you guys have some fun celebrating planned! miss you guys lots and can't wait to see you soon!!
Holy cow I missed a lot in a week. Evie Lu is so cute and what a smart chick to be sitting up already! I'm so proud and she's not even related to me.
Happy birthday late too.
