Spring Ballet Recital

Evie has been taking ballet lessons since January as part of a birthday/Christmas gift. She loves the jumps. She loves the twirls. She loves loves loves the skirts and shoes. This past weekend was the recital and she was so excited. Her class (5-6 year olds) were blue birds, complete with poofy tutus, feather headdresses, and rainbow colored wings. Other classes were also participating and adding Princesses (6-8 year olds) and Bumblebees (4 year olds) to the show. It was so precious! Or, I should say it was so precious until I agreed to help with the rehearsals. The definition of chaos? 15 girls, ages 4-8, in tutus, wanting to see how far they could slide on their tights if they run really fast. I was beginning to wonder what they have been doing for 3 months! But they pulled it together and it was a sweet little show. Even Zevon and Guthrie seemed to be entertained! Evie did a great job, and if you ask me she had the best bow out of all of her class.
