I was excited for Symphony in the park in late June, as was the rest of my family. That is, until we saw the weather. The thermometer read over 100 degrees by the time we attended the band portion of symphony in the park at 5pm. Our kids were real troopers and we were able to camp out in the shade and listen to the city band play. We all enjoyed the music, as well as the cold ice cream for sale.
