As crazy as it may sound Evie Lu's first experience with pumpkin carving was my first real experience as well. Kaia had grown up with this tradition, but I can only recall watching other people dig out pumpkin guts. I think my daughter and I were equally fascinated by the whole process. Evie Lu was not much help with the spoon, but she had a great time.
Dad, I'm not sure what is more ridiculous the pumpkin top or your beard.
Evangeline was able to experience the full meal deal as we roasted the pumpkin seeds along with carving a Kaia designed face. It won't be too long until Evie Lu suggests here own designs. So what does the pumpkin look like? You'll have to wait until tomorrow!
