Kaia believes it is in preparation for rolling over, but for some reason Evie Lu has begun sticking one arm straight up in the air. It cracks me up as I imagine we are raising a little activist. Since I have lots of spare time I imagine what exactly she could be protesting. My outfit choices? Kaia eating spicy food? The horrendous state of my beloved Chicago Cubs?
As she gets older Kaia and I are committed to raising a responsible little human who knows that life is not fair and those of us with abundance need to share with those who are in need. I like to think she's already getting the message.
Or maybe she just wants to roll over.

I think she is protesting the wearing of socks. She certainly kicks them off fast enough. Free the toes!
She's a very cheerful activist, at least. She's like, "Death to the oppressor... except not death, maybe just snuggles... or some drool..."
I think she's saying "Yay! Babies!"
