The Sunday after Easter is called Low Sunday because attendance is usually dismal. The rush of excitement at Easter is replaced with exhaustion after all the hard work. It is usually on this day you'll hear seminary interns or guest preachers and the lesson is always on Doubting Thomas.
I'm preaching today and I've decided I need to communicate God's love to the congregation as clearly as Evie Lu communicates it to me. I will use the words of grace and forgiveness, of peace and reconciliation, but not just in a nebulous ethereal way in a right here for you way. If I can do that I figure we can get rid of this whole Low Sunday thing altogether.

OH MY GOD!! She looks SO MUCH like Kaia on this picture!!!!
Will, I appreciate your words. We need to know of God's forgiveness every hour of every day, so we can in turn do the same for those around us.
