Play Ball!
What are Evie Lu and I going to do today? Walk to the store to pick up brats, buns, and chips. Put Brady on speed dial for homerun calls. Then settle in for a day full of baseball! My little girl's first opening day features both my Cubs and her mom's Twins on ESPN. What could be better?

If she ever, EVER, gets the lousy idea that cheering for the Yankees is a good plan, I am disowning this child - no matter how cute she is. A family member who is a Yankees fan is dead to me.

Jillian, you only squeak by because I know you don't actually like baseball - you onlly find yourself enamoured by the Jeter hotness. ;) And because you're cool. And that's fine. But Evangeline has got to learn tough love now.
okay, that's not true -- i actually really like baseball. i even really like the twins (remember how we went to like 57832957 games last year?). i just also enjoy looking at derek jeter.
and mostly, i like that me liking the yankees ticks everyone else off. :)
