Top 10 Ways To Deal With Evie Lu Withdrawl

Our trio is getting ready to take our show on the road, so we will not be able to post to the blog until Monday. What on earth will you do until then? Evie Lu and I thought we'd help you pass the time.

Drumroll please . . .

10. With some paper and crayons make your own Evie Lu post and tape it to your computer.
9. Revisit the posts in the archives to see how she's grown.
8. See if you can work in the 4-5 naps a day Evangeline enjoys.
7. Help Evie Lu and her mom by cheering on the Twins as they play the Tigers.
6. Help Evie Lu and I by cheering on the Cubs as they play the hated Cardinals.
5. Get yourself some belly time.
4. Check out Crazy Aunt Megan's blog.
3. Join us in Minnesota! (If you start driving now . . . )
2. Listen to some quality kid's tunes with Ralph's World and Justin Roberts.
1. Feel like Evangeline for a little while and spit up on someone you love.

Have a safe trip, don't get vomit on too many people, give KB lotsa love for me, and enjoy being home!

Oh, how Chris and I wish we could see you all. But we will be in the same state. I love keeping up with Evie Lu via the blogsite. We really want to try to come see you Seattle this year. Our love to you all!

Let me warn you. If you see Evie in person, the withdrawal is excruciating once she's gone. I thought empty nest syndrome was bad but losing Will, Kaia, and Evangeline in an early morning exit was so difficult. It was certainly hard to walk past that empty cradle on my way to work! Better yet, to be an old couple driving a car with an empty car seat in back is pathetic! But she's truly amazing in person: twice as cute, twice as funny, twice as spit-uppie, and an infinity more lovable!
