Above: Evangeline asked me when pitchers and catchers are due to report for Spring Training and decided to hug her Cubbie bear until they do.
A gorgeous, but cold day led us to the great American mecca of commerce - the mall. Did we need anything? Nope, nothing but a good walk and forgetting it was a holiday meant we took our walk with thousands of our closest friends.
One of my little joys as a dad is seeing the looks on the faces of strangers as we walk by them. Evangeline was sporting her bear suit (see the post from last week)and she was a hit. The kiosk people didn't even try to sell us anything, they just wanted a peek at our pretty girl.
