Evangeline took the loss today pretty hard as you can see. Maybe I'd made too big a deal about destiny and all, but I took the opportunity to talk to her about being careful with the sports teams you call your own.
After all, I have been a Cubs fan and Saints fan for nearly three decades of futility. Kaia has had a little easier go of it with two Twins World Series wins in her memory. (We won't talk about the Vikings.)
So, be careful who you cheer for little one. (Or you could be like your Uncle and be in league with evil and root for some team like the Yankees.)
